What the Bible Says in Daniel Chapter Twelve
The Bible is the only book that contains many books inside. This contains different messages such as parables, stories, genealogies, encouragements, advice, laws, prophecies, and still many more. Bible is known to be the book of all knowledge. So many things to learn and a lot more to discover.
Nowadays, more and more people become interested in reading the Bible. Not just to gain knowledge and understanding of the Words of God, but also wisdom on what should come in the future. Gone are the days where people are afraid to even touch the Bible. They have already discovered that this is a holy material that should not be kept but learned. This is the start where more and more individuals start to read the Holy Bible.
With the advent of technology, many are already creating their own sites which include discussion about several contexts in the Bible. Also, the internet has been a great place for people who needs a better understanding of the Words of God. If you are going to search the internet, you will surely be amazed at how many websites and blogs talking about different contexts in the Bible. There is actually a lot to learn and it is a fact that not everything is easy to understand, unless with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
One of the most talked-about context in the Bible is the meaning behind the verses in the book of Daniel chapter twelve. What’s does the whole chapter means?
Daniel chapter 12 basically talks about the time of trouble, a sign of our Lord Jesus Christ’s coming, and end-time event. In verse 1, the Bible says that there shall come a time where people experience trouble that has not never been experienced in the past. Is the trouble we are experiencing today the same trouble mentioned in the verse?
Although the Bible is sure about the great trouble to come, there is no need for everybody to worry and panic. The verse ends with a hopeful statement that says that everyone who has submitted their lives to God shall be delivered. That’s greater news for you!
This prophecy that shall be fulfilled in the future is something both to be feared and hoped for. Why should you not worry? Simple. The Bible says that those who believe in Christ shall not experience the trouble. You don’t want to threaten by it? If your answer is yes, the belief in God! There is no other way out but to trust God with all of your heart.
Until this very moment, no one knows what will happen in the future. Is the Bible hard to understand? In verse 4, “But you, Daniel, shut the words, and seal the book until the time of the end.”. This means that the prophecies written in the book will not be understood fully until the time of the end finally comes.
There are sure a lot of things that a person may not understand in the Bible. But that doesn’t mean that there is something wrong in the Holy Book. We are taught here to be patient and to put our hope in God, who is the creator of the whole Earth.
